I have baldness in the crown of my cranial area and on the right and left side of the temple area. Can you help me.

RESPONSE

There are many possibilities for hair loss in the areas that you mentioned including Central Centrifugal Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, and Androgenetic Alopecia.

It would be necessary to have more information as well as an idea of what the areas look like to determine if I can help you. Some of these conditions could improve with medical treatment and sometimes hair transplant surgery could be required.

North Carolina Dermatologists NEW
by: Seymour M. Weaver, III, M.D.

The following two dermatologists are located near your area in North Carolina: Amy J. McMichael, M.D. who practices at Wake Forest Medical Center and Wayne Woods, M.D who practices in Greensboro, N.C. They both should be able to provide you with expert evaluation of your condition.
