I am a 35 yr old female who has been experiencing hair thinning for the past 6 months. I am so frustrated because I take such good care of my hair or try to anyway. I am stressed because I am in a rigorous physician assistant program, moved in with my fiance' and separated from the military of 11 yrs all within this time period. So I would like to think that the stress is what is doing it but not sure because my hair started thinning 2 months prior to me doing any of those previous mentioned activities. I take hair vitamins and have been for years. I drink water and exercise. My thyroid hormones and other labs were checked and were normal. Although, my thyroid level was low normal.

Another possible cause for the hair loss visible in your picture is traction alopecia as well as chronic telogen effluvium. How long ago did the hair loss start and was the crown area involved at the same time?
You mentioned that you received several injections, but the time period was not mentioned. In general, it can take 6 to 12 months to see the results of treatment. Additional topical medication can be of benefit at times.
The biotin supplement would be good to continue.
So, additional information would be necessary to try and make further comments.
